What's the difference? Why top 8 is so important compared to the top 4? Why do we keep harping about the top 8?
True, in a way, as you infer, no team is going to have enough in them to go and win enough games in a row from the bottom 4 of the 8..
But making it is an "achievement" in and of itself. Players (and fans) go through a lot in a season and to come up with nothing and no chance (real or perceived) hurts.
Not phased at all through circumstances and just purely being not good enough it is what it is.We got 2 games left and this no doubt could have a bearing on the coaches career.

It feels shit but worse is knowing the coach is absolutely under no pressure to keep his job. Him, his entire coaching staff and the retenention and recruitment commitee should be all under the pump.

It should start opening people's eyes that it's just a big circle jerk boys club at Parra.
Jimmy covers for Mark because Mark covers for BA, and BA covers for certain players like Gutho because these certain players like Gutho keeps the boys on side. That's why all contracts are at all times synced and hence why you never see meaningful changes.
If one steps out of line the whole system and paychecks disappear that's why you never see changes - they all cover for each other and depend on each other to keep the over priced paychecks and their jobs.
Yep it's shit but I'm hindsight we will all look back on this as something needed to happen to force change.
Don't get me wrong, change won't happen straight away, but this is the first domino to fall - based on the squad for next year and who we will have coming I can't see this team improving.
If anything, the team will all be that 1 year older and BA will have had 11 year boring years of building his team, his tactics and selections.
