Howarth to Parramatta

Getting some messages that the Parramatta Eels have apparently signed Queensland u19s representative Frank Howarth.

Younger brother of Jack Howarth and shows a lot of promise. Big bodied second rower who is certainly going to be an Nrl player in the future.

Could this mean both the Howarth boys are coming to Parra?

Also a 1ee member mentioned it a week ago. Trent from the cupboard house of il repute.

  • Nice parra signing Jack Howarth he's ability is definitely going to win us a comp like he did in 2024 and 2025 oh wait....

    • At least he made GF's.

  • Frank Howarth would probably start the year in JF. Still a while away from NRL footy apparently. Same age as Petrus but Petrus is much ahead of him

    • Yea both him and Kobi will start in flegg I'd say. Both are big and athletic but very raw.

      • The other blokethat LB mentioned is apparently still very raw too. Like below Koina and others.

Petrus will probably start in JF unless injuries.

        • Kobi Floro? Yeah absolute man mountain but looks like he might be a 21-22 year old debutant as his body gets stronger and fitter for grade. He would do well with a full year in Cup.

Ryda and Koina would be ahead of him. Floro more likely a developmental guy. Nelson type.

          • Yea agree on Floro. I have been watching tape on both kids and Floro has NRL calibre size and athleticism, he's just very raw and has inefficient movement/reads within their system at times which makes him look lost. But that size athletic combo is worth persisting with. Howarth is harder to read as they played him at centre all year and he struggled laterally and looked raw as well but he also has nrl calibre size and athleticism at back row.

            • Howarth could be a middle, he is a man mountain. His tape for U19's Origin wasn't too bad.

Floro looks like Wiremu Greig to me, more talented. But seems in NRL he might be that 15-20min impact player to disrupt the ruck with his size. Eventually he could be a starter but he wont be a 40+min Prop i reckon. He needs a little conditioning but with Paulo he could have a good mentor to assist him.

I'm in favour of a suspension with keeping him could be handy best part of the year"

"This is outrageous. Ezra Mam got 9 weeks for driving under the influence of drugs that caused a crash. How does Addo get longer? Parramatta need to say something about this. No way should he get longer!"
