So true, two days ago friend of mine told his wife his chest was hurting a bit so he went to bed early, next morning his wife couldn't wake him up. He was 38yrs old. You just never know what's waiting for you.
Mate of mine had a calcium score on his tissues around his heart with a score around 6000.a few months ago.The heart specialist said he had only see one other person with a similar result. Couldn't believe any one could survive with a score around that figure. He had 2 stents put in his heart arteries a couple of days ago. The left artery was 99.9 % blocked.If it was the right artery he wouldn't be around. Worth getting things checked out particularly when you get older.Lots of lives lost unnecessarily through ignorance
Tad, apparently dietary calcium supplements and too much fortified foods have an affect in raising your calcium score and a detrimental effect on heart health. . Also vitamin k has been shown to improve those readings by transferring the calcium in one's blood stream into their bones. There's a heap of info on the net around these findings
Cheif my friends experience motivated me to have this test done.Doc told me I have a good reading and I should have no concerns for the next 10 years. Very comforting to know Cheers
