Sandow's greatest weapon is his unpredictability and and that he is a true X-factor player.... But he can't be our full time Halfback if we are going to have any premiership success he is too much of a liability, not only in defence but also with the bad decisions he makes in attack.... However with the new reduced interchange rule I can see Sandow being our most valuable player and the most feared player in the comp. Not with the no.7 on his back, he'd be my no.14...

The new interchange rule means there will be more slow, tired big forwards on the field in the 2nd half. So the way I would use him is, I would bring Sandow on in the 50th minute when opposition forwards are struggling use him as a floating, attacking weapon he would wreak havock amongst the exhausted opposition big men... Kind of a similar role that Matt Bowen used to play for QLD off the bench.... Sandow Super Sub..... But if that fails I would just send him on his way and get a halfback that can organise.

  • All well and good but instead of a utility you have one guy for one position for a very limited amount of game time, which is further reducing your interchange. An alternative would be a player who could come on at hooker and provide similar speed.

    • Who's Samson? Do we have Delilah too??
    • Samson changed his name to Tepai. That is why he has long hair. Don't ever cut it.
  • Bwahahaha,,,, Getting a bit emotional there Poppa, I seem to have hit a nerve with you, you sound like the founding member of the Chrissy Sandow Fan Club.... Nothing wrong with his game at the moment, but he was sure shit house last week and that's his problem at halfback, no consistency, you seem to be so blinded by the brilliant plays he can pull off but you're oblivious to the many bad calls he makes. 1 good year in the 4 years he's been here.

My point is the game is going to change with the reduced interchange and Parra have the perfect player that can allow us to be the pioneers in exploiting this change... Best way for this to be effective is to have Peats as an 80min Hooker.

    • Badass your a bad judge of a footballer, I'm the founding member of the CS Fan Club. As I have said many times previously his first 2 years at Parra were a disaster because of our shit house forwards. The reason is obvious and explained in clear English in Poppa's post.

In those 2 years CS was the coaches excuse for the poor team performance, no wonder he took to drink and gambling, it would have done my head in as well!

  • That's my point poppa Chrissy will have more room than ever this yr
  • Why, why, why would we want Delilah? Although its not unusual to do mid season signings

    • I knew a chick once called Deliah. I used to sing that song to her just for the hell of it until she had enough and gave the best effing right hook I've encountered. Floored me she did...never sing to a Lesbian unless you're k.d.lang

  • Nah I call tepai baby Hindy ....Samson cud work I guess ...
  • Badass would have Kelly at half!
