How did rep boys play in fiji match

I am currently overseas so didn't watch the pm - v - fiji match.  Only read the results ., Gutho got a hatrick and Mitch kicked a few goals .

How did they look the boys ? I know the opposition was Ron Massey cup level without the nrl stars but keen to hear people's thoughts on the boys.  I think Mahoney is origin bound next year !!

cheersc

  • Bit of a walk in the park. They werent really trying to hard. Guth played well but the defence was non existent

  • They played great, mate.

Gutho got a hat trick, Mahoney made some good runs from dummy half and Moses set up a heap of tries.

    Brown played how Brown does.

The opposition was dreadful but the four people in the crowd didn’t seem to care.

It was a good will game, basically.

  • Thanks for the update . I am on holidays in Romania  ( something different )  great place !

looking forward to how the boys going in the nines now

  • Moses goalkicking was a concern

  • gutho killed them, all parra players went well..

  • I rate game like one of those soccer “ friendly” matches . Hard to notice many Semi or Mika sivo types in that Fiji side. They will need a few good rugby converts before they field a competitive side in NSW from next year . It was good watching the Parra boys playing good football and having fun . I loved the Gutho try under the post with both Moses ( the balll passer ) and Mahoney in a line alongside Gutho crossing the line to score . I hope we see a few of those types of tries scored by eels next year . What about when Australia number 2 scored first try and commentator called it a “ Ferguson “ try Lol . Of course Fergo withdrew through injury . The same commentator , after Gutho scored his first try ,described Gutherson something like a “ try scoring machine with 8 tries for Parramatta in the NRL this year “.

There are some really good signs with TDS, we just have to be patient with him.
