Well, i'm laying on my bed, thinking what went wrong for it to end like this. The team that has all the potential in the world that challenged a bunch of cheaters for the title last year, and gained the likes of internationals in Poore and Tahu, and we are out of contention for the eight. Every time i think about not seeing us in the finals makes my stomach drop. I think just about everyone i know though Parra were going to be a major force in the competition for the next few years, although now we are entering a rebuilding phase. Whether it is the fact that our halves are not good enough, or we dont have the speed in our backs, or a damaging forward pack its all over now.
Next year we are losing probably our second most devastating player Feleti, our inspirational captain retiring, and others like Keating and Inu, with NOT ONE signing, so i really cannot see it gettign much better next year, unless we can pull a rabbit out of the hat in the QC saga.
To end this year most likely behind the Sharks, Dogs, Cowboys and a team that was not even in contention is really dissapointing. This was meant to be our year! The only thing i can put my finger on how it went wrong is laziness and no commitment.
Oh well, i really have to stop thinking about it, i am going camping.

Cayless is not inspirational. We have heard it all year and still failed to make the semis. He played 40 minutes last, most when the game was gone. Yep he inspired them....not.
I'm not saying your opinion is wrong Billblogs, but i'm curious as to why your info is contrary to the other unsubstantiated claims that have been made in the past. There are those on this forum who talk completely out of their arse, but i can't say i take you for one of them Blogs... so let's avoid the whole heated argument shall we.
