  I'm presuming that Horo will take Mateo's spot next year.
  Smith might even move to lock, and Horo will play in the second row.
  Either way, this is the man to replace Mateo.
  
  What a game he had too!
  Gets through the hard yards in attack and defence, and is a good all-round player!

  yea. Its funny how players excel when they are given the oppurtunity. After seeing alot of Horo as a junior player he was always a talented player but went missing in games alot, and never had the consistency to really push for first grade. But now given the oppurtunity he has improved so much that could really be pushing for a kiwi jersey at seasons end.

  I read in the paper that he is as good as signed. The eels have offered him a new contract and he has accepted. It's only a matter of time before he has resigned. The report also sated that the eels wil offer Te Mari a new contract also.
  
  I stated earlier in the year that this guy is a gun and thank God he hasn't dissapointed me with his form this year. He reminds me of a young Hindmarsh. Keep up the good work Horo.

  horo is just so fricken good, every tackle i seen he is involved :) Also if Ben Smith was allowed to play i think our defence would of been outstanding!!!! Cant wait till smith is back but also horo is doing a great job at defence and congrats to caylo on his most capped skipper!
