Ah well, looks like the average speed of our backline is about to get a whole lot quicker, regardless of who replaces him. :)
I don't think the court case will actually run it's course - it should be pretty clear to both parties by now who is probably going to win, and the ramifications of loosing, and a settlement will probably be reached - this is how these thing usually play out.

The sooner the better from my viewpoint. The current stalemate is poisonous for both sides & the quicker that the parties reach a sensible settlement the better.
