The Parramatta Eels are on the verge landing a blue and gold re-signing coup by extending the contract of front row forward Reagan Campbell-Gillard until the end of 2025.
Despite speculation the Eels roster management strategy was in danger of imploding, RCG is poised to sign a three-year extension worth more than $2.4 million as Parramatta set about resolving having 13 of their top 30 players off contract.
In a positive sign for the Eels, RCG will extend his stay by a further three seasons with the Eels still benefiting from premiers Penrith chipping in $250,000-a-season for the next three years.
Campbell-Gillard, 28, has recaptured the form that saw him break into the NSW State of Origin side and Australian Kangaroos team since switching to the Eels in 2020 under coach Brad Arthur.

Amongst the best forwards in the game. So who are we losing to pay the upgrades of RCG and others about to come, like Ice and Mahoney.
Great work Reg!!
How is Penrith still chipping in $250k for the next three years? Holy moly!!!
Lol love when I read that!!!
Best Feeling aye. Still IDK, no players hold good form over 5 years
Geez, you have low expectations of players
Wash your mouth out , apparently Gus is a salary cap genius personally responsible for their 2021 premiership.
Hey he was happy at the Panthers till Ivan arrived at the joint
I bet he was . Look at the coin Gus put him on. Robin Williams would probably still be with us if Gus had put him on that deal. .
Interesting, I'd say he has activated his option, with the club topping it up. Smart bit of business by the Eels, and it weakens the Panthers
He told the club that he was not exercising the PO on his contract applied for 2023, I understand that once he did that he was left in the open, the club also dropped their CO on his contract for 2024.
