Is ExpressVPN just a typical VPN in that, it unblocks videos from overseas that wouldn't normally play in Australia while also protecting your IP address for torrenting etc?
So far I have had a fuss-free and inexpensive experience with Ivacy, (which is allegedly geared towards fast torrenting speeds) but I get the feeling from your comment that ExpressVPN offers more than a this?
I think Livestream are blocking VPNs since the Nines.
It may not be the best set up but lately but we've been using the Opera browser with its built in free VPN (you need to select it in the settings section) and we then selected the Netherlands as our VPN access point and LiveStream has been consistently working well since. No complicated setting up's required too. :)

We also use HaHaSports http://www.hahasports.co (click on rugby) as a free streaming back up but you need a damn goos adblocker and Opera also has a good built in adblocker you can turn on in the settings section too.
