Hayze Perham

I heard a rumour from a mate that's a Dog's fan si take it with a grain of salt. he might be coming back he's on the outs at the Dog's.

I sure hope we can do better than him although he is also better then Lumelume Cini and Dunster that in itself is a indictment of our R&R team.

Has anyone else heard this?

  • I mean thinking about, at first no, but then again we also need a utility back of some sorts at the club. He has played FG, as a break glass option and cheap i mean why not.

Not like we are signing him to start right away. As a depth signing he is better than what we have in some areas.

    • Surely the Tigers or Dragons need him more than we do.

  • Had his medical today.

  • Haven't heard anything about it . Hope this helps.

  • I hope this is not true. Perham is essentially the fullback version of Asi. Can play from 1-7 however is defensively awful. Rather sign a proper dpet fullback, centre or winger. Not a utlity.

    • That is a briliantly apt description, I could think of nothing more perfectly said "than a full back version of ASI".

If we took back Perham it would highlight to me how hopeless we had become. We were laughing and dancing in the streets when the Dogs took him.....to even possibly imagine him coming back would make me so depressed I would have to take Fongy out to Mt Druitt and share a devon sandwich with him.....no sauce thanks! That and Fongy explaining that devon is a delicacy appreciated by few would be up there listening to Chief explaining how good under the high ball perham really is!

      • Yep, "a fullback version of Asi" but with fewer skills and more dazzling dancing feet; great for Rumba classes.

  • Don't need him.

We're lacking serious pace in our backline, i hope we going after someone with some speed.
