  • good to know thanks!
  • Pardon the french but Terry Hill is a fuckwit.

    That is all.
    • +1.
  • Good on Hayne for coming out so quick to dispel the media as "way over the top".
  • Here's another twitter update from Hayne.

Finished media. So nerves trying to get it all out but now its confirmed I'm not walking n that me and ando are fine. Have a blessed day !!!
  • OK not wanting to inflame the situation but what does Hayne think DA needs to apologise for ? Telling it straight. That our marque player is down on form and trying too hard ? Please did anyone listen to the Press conference. It was a big nothing and DA has nothing to apologise for.

I would be more impressed if Hayne came out and said DA and I are fine and I have learnt a lot about what is needed from me to be the marque player at a club. NOT yeah its all sweet because the coach apologised to me.

How about the players apologise for the last 2 spineless losses !!
    • I agree but don't put it all on Hayne, the Halves aren't doing jack and hes trying to make up for that and it ain't working. Nobody else is copping criticism so why throw it all on Hayne.

What about Morts the Golden Boy? That is Haynes point. I think he is ok to cop it if it is validated etc but he is not the only one yet others are NOT copping it.
  • Bwahahahahahaha DA apologised. I guess we all know who the power is in Parra these days. Especially with sponsors and fans.
  • I find it interesting that Hayne was the face of the telegraph over the off season. They get wind that there probably is not a rift with Hayne and the eels, but there is a chance that there just might be a rift and its back page stuff....
I know the tele is all about selling papers but geeee.....
  • That is the key point Adam. Just prior to DA mentioning in the press conference that Hayne had a 'poor' game, he was deflecting questions about our halves. It is acceptable for Hayne to be privately irritated that DM, whose $250k contract probably expedited the departure of his two friends Mateo and Inu, isn't pulling his weight and Hayne himself is trying too much to 'pick up the slack'.

In all fairness, I think if faced with a similar situation, all of us would feel similarly.
