Hayne NFL dream de-railed again

The Jarryd Hayne NFL dream has been de-railed for now amid whispers the former Parramatta star is proving a distracting figure in the locker room.

According to my US spy, Hayne has been carrying on with some schoolboy antics that haven’t exactly endeared him to head 49ers coach Jim Tomsula and some players.

Word keeps getting louder and louder that he will return to the NRL sooner rather than later.

It will be intriguing to see how this one plays out.

  • What about the movie, the movie won't sell unless he succeeds
    • The film can be "based on a true story".....

In the end, the 49er's make it to the superbowl and Hayne scores the match winning touch down with one second to go. Something like Thurston's fairy tale finish in the recent grand final.... only that was real.

  • The documentary goes for 20 seconds, including 3 fumbles and an argument with Tomusula.
    • Lol
How can anyone take a sport seriously when a players entire career can be shown in one minute of action
  • its never good when one team mate wants to touch the private parts of other players, it never ends well.

    • LOL : )
    • Hahaha
    • Well I hope this doesn't get out I don't think Thorpie would be happy.
    • or poo in a teammates shoe. That will end in tears.

  • The Lurker - right - nothing more needs to be said.

"Improving but a long way to go. The boys lacked composure. Two quick tries and the game was there for the taking but instead of trying to grind out a win they were too eager to score and gifted away possession and momentum.

"Was a great call, EA.
Thought he looked really good in his first outting. Covered the inside space really well as he obviously has a bit more lateral movement & speed than other edge backrowers.
Can put a hit on too, drives in hard with his…"

"Definitely looking better but as expected young fellas make the odd mistake at the most crucial time and we desperately need a couple of back rowers. I cannot see how carty and mattto can't do a better job than katoga and guymer. Guymer looked great…"

"Ryles is starting to show some emotion/frustration in the box now,  this is a good sign as it indicates he is starting to expect more from this relatively young and new squad."
