After reading the responses to the Hayne departure in the past 36 hours it has become apparent that MANY fans on here think we are screwed without him.
Well...we do lose all the time when he is in origin or injured, which let's face it, he HAS been in the past few years.
I love watching Hayne kick arse for the eels and I will miss those times greatly.
When he has been on origin duty and we have lost and when he has been injured and we have lost, so called smart fans have mentioned that we don't win unless Hayne plays.
We will have 1.2m to spend on other players. Imagine we had 1.2m worth of players every time we had to play without him in the past couple of years. Would we have seen different results?
Of course we would.
We have been a 1 trick pony for far too long. We can now breathe and get some talent. Jarryd is a very fantastic and dominant player.
To see this team with a few VERY good recruits next year and 2016 will be very exciting to watch.
Life goes on without Hayne.

Mate I'd say people's responses on here are pretty normal for any Parramatta Eels Fan under the circumstances. We had perhaps the most gifted player to ever play the game, a once in a life time performer, we thought we would have him til he retired. And all of a sudden he's gone with no warning it's just the shock of it that we will be talking about it for a long time to come

Our entire attack has been shut down for years when Jarryd is kept quiet.
