Luke, journalism 101, your headline has to grab the attention of the reader. You clicked on this blog because of the headline right? Well it's done it's job.
If he has been offered a train and trial period that'd be a massive boost for him. It'd be pretty smart of Detroit too. It's not a massive financial investment for them and they'd probably have first dibs on him if he proves he's worth a practice squad contract.
