Hayne offered Detroit Lions deal

Reports in the Daily Telegraph are saying that the Detroit Lions have offered Hayne a train and trial deal. So far no other media outlet is reporting this. The deal was supposedly helped through by Reggie Bush.

  • How about a plane and pain deal

  • So it's back to the Hayne train?

Man I wish he would make up his mind.

  • You should work for the telegrubs with that headline.
    • Luke, journalism 101, your headline has to grab the attention of the reader. You clicked on this blog because of the headline right? Well it's done it's job.

  • If he has been offered a train and trial period that'd be a massive boost for him. It'd be pretty smart of Detroit too. It's not a massive financial investment for them and they'd probably have first dibs on him if he proves he's worth a practice squad contract.

"JDB had the highest tackle efficiency of any Eels player at 95%. That's basically his job. Make the tackles in the middle in the opening 20 minutes."

"Keep him where he is, let him grow into the role, he will get his chance, why lose the momentum he brings, same as Walker."
