I can see where Mallee is coming from just the same. I thought when Joash played 5/8 last year he did well defensively and his passing and linking was not a problem. The problem with Pezet is his speed in defence,…"

"They started last year winning 50-14 over Easts."
"The one against the Warriors in 03' was great."
"Pezet occupied the middle a lot last night and they combined nicely. Still growing pains but they both seem to be on same page in terms of the goal. They haven't gotten in each others way at the moment."

Today, I think something like 20% of the players are foreign players and the Spurs who just won have few Americans. Anyway, point is, the NBA has grown enormously in the last 30 years by : 1. increasing the number of teams and 2.finding new markets like Australia who pay to watch. It was the players that paved the way for this to happen.
NFL is not an international sport so I doubt the same strategy would work, however you never know what they might try in order to grow the game. Maybe bringing in foreign players would appeal to the power brokers.
The NFL's handling of the player that knocked out his girlfriend in a lift was bloody terrible so management is capable of anything.
