Hayne Mentally

I honestly think after the injuries Hayne had after Origins he struggles mentally.Look at today his mind was anywhere but AAMI Park

  • You could be right, I think it's more how physical Wednesday night was and the virus he had just drained him physically and mentally.
  • tough crowd - one mistake and one missed tackle. was our most dangerous and saved three or four tries
  • Hayne saved a lot of tackles and set up a lot, I mentioned earlier in the week that Morgan and Hayne have a great combo
  • so is hayne be with us next game against the Knights

    • Should ask the other 16...the same question....

  • You are over reading it, Hayne just had an off day, which was like our team against the storm team with their extra players in the refs.

  • After the origin defeat . Smith and slater were always going to have a point to prove. I think hayne was tired mentally and should have been giving the weekend off.
  • I don't get why everyone is bagging Hayne what game are you watching? He was outstanding again today with one or two mistakes which happen
    • Mick maybe I am being too hard on Jarryd and have set too high an expectations but he fumbled a number of balls and I personally don't think mentally he wanted to play today

An interesting stat is Parra have only since 2010 Parra have only won 1 game of Origin after Hayne has played the Wed before

  • Not sure if it was visible on TV, but at the ground there were a few times where Hayne was walking back into position at the back with his back completely turned to the play. When the Storm had the ball.
He made a few errors, but big deal, errors happen. But hr did look a bit switched off too.

Parra fan on The Hill replied to Offside's discussion Samrani vs Penisini
"Other way round if it were to be. Penisini is too slow for the wing.
Wouldnt drop Simo. His hit ups are good and he works hard.
Anyway..Samrani 1st drop for injuries or suspensions. Not bog average Brian Kelly.

"With over 100 nrl games in difference with samrani and will P .  I like samrani puts himself in the game and has a physical presence about it. Will has definitely worked on increasing his pace and defence but Samrani not that far behind him now . "

"Definitely more time is needed to make a judgement call but I hope some actual competition for his spot. "
