You don’t just start playing in the forwards at NRL level. I doubt he has ever played in the forwards at any level. He wouldn’t handle it and would get exposed. It’s a no from me. Just can’t see him as a forward in any capacity.
Hayne is not a forward, especially when he's not 80 minutes match fit, yet. 13's do a lot of tackling and after 20 minutes we lose all of Hayne's wide array of essential attacking skills. Not a good idea Swampie.

Heres one...
Why not put Brown at Prop, with Kenny Edwards lock, Mau and Terepo in the backrow. Thats what I would do..
Terepo is a prop. We’ve tried him on the edge before and it didn’t go too well. Plus Edwards is a right side edge player. These days locks play in the middle.
Maybe in the 90s with the arrow structure. No. 6 on one side and no. 13 on the other side as the play makers. One either side of the half organising in the middle. Ah the 90s, such a great time period.
