There is a relaxed confidence and determination about them. I watched all the press conferences today from Mitch, Reed, Dylbo, Lane, Paulo, RCG and BA.
They towed the line and there wasn't anything too juicy to come out of it. Lane is a very likeable guy. A few of them admitted that last years loss still burns and they won't ever forget it, whereas others played a straight bat.
I also noticed during the last 5 or 6 games when something goes wrong on the field and they turn the camera on Brad in the coaches box, you can see him swearing and getting angry.
It's about time he showed some passion and emotion when the players fuck up.
They seem a lot more relaxed and less pressured than other years which is great. Compared to BA trying to somewhat promote his squad as bouncing off the walls and all this jibberish.
Only concern is both clubs will be ready to go and it will be a slog, but if we get close and get done like last year, do we go into week 2 feeling down and feeling sorry for ourselves that we let Melbourne or Canberra take advantage i.e. 2017 with North Queensland.
BA has certainly grown as a coach over the past couple of seasons, and has no doubt learnt from things that didn't go our way in the past. Yes I do think the team has the right focus. Penrith will step up a gear tomorrow night, but I'm sure BA and the team are fully aware of this and have prepared well. We just need to execute to perfection - sounds easy but this will be a big challenge for the team.
"I honestly don't see any valid points that favour Lomax or the Storm. The Storm were in negotiations with Lomax whilst he was still playing for the Eels. As well as Lomax in discussion with R360 whilst he was still playing for the Eels and under…"
"If Ryles leaves in 2028 with a premiership then I frankly don't care.
But let's see anyway. If Ryles improves us again this year I'd go into contract talks with him next off season. "

Well being the master con artist it would be difficult to actually tell.
