Gutherson staying put

Manly might be desperate to lure Clint Gutherson home but the flying Eel is in no hurry to return to the northern beaches.

“I wasn’t approached my Manly. I’m still happy at Parra…I’m loving life out here with the Eels, I’m loving the team that we’ve got,” he told The Repeat Set.

“Manly never came to me, and even if they did, I’d probably turn them back.

“I wouldn’t move for anyone at the moment.”

    • The King who would 'probably' turn them back.

    • He's here to kick a#$ and chew bubblegum. But he's all out of gum.

  • we should hurry up to offer him a five year deal players like him don't come along every day same thing for moses because money talks

    • No player is bigger than the club. If some other club offers more than he's worth we let him go and develop a new star. Gutherson is contracted until the end of next year so I'd be surprised if we began negotiations before the end of this season.

    • Nice to read that Fong.

Problem for Manly is that they did not value him when they had him
    • Tied up Carlo. Please explain
  • Agree Elvis "probably"

  • The vanilla slice spaniel is here forever , if nothing else to hold on to

his nick name !! I agree we should tie him up, maybe we are waiting to see how his injury goes or maybe too risky ???

    • whats his nickname gts

      • Vanilla slice aka spaniel you had to be here his first season

LB replied to Johnny Suede's discussion Lomax legal promise could create salary-cap headache for Storm
"I know i have said it before but Storm fans say we are being unreasonable and see no outcome in which we win this case. Despite all the released, that is still the belief. I believe in bias and backing your team but come on.
