When it involves allegations of drink-driving or misbehaviour towards women, we have a low tolerance level. It’s an absolute privilege, not a right, for players to pull on an NRL jersey in our competition.”
and yet what penalty has James Roberts got for getting drunk, spitting on a girl and hair pulling, not to mention the white stuff. But all we hear is theres not enough evidence. Seems the NRL has a high tolerance when needed.
Wheres theres smoke theres usually fire.
I bet he did!!
so how did grant get it so wrong with pledging money that didn't exist if they have full account of the revenues?
Yawn I think fellas. It is Rothfield and Greenburg....words and buzz words all round, and not much to see here.
Barba should have been made to sit out entire season; and as for Roberts, why is there no further action? He seems a protected species along with the club
So Todd, when you held a big press conference to announce the Eels sanctions you said you were going to do all you can to make Parra a force in the NRL again. So what exactly did you do?
Because from the outside it looks like you merely fined the club, penalised it with salary cap points deductions and deregistered some officials. It didn't seem like you assisted the club in any way whatsoever. Which is fine but why say you were going to help when clearly you didn't help at all?
True words Mutt. People bagged Gallop but he was not too bad imo. Greenburg seems to go hiding at times and is all talk. I just think if some of these issues occurred under Quayle / Arko we would have seen things done quickly and the ARL would have been more stringent. It all sounds like waffle. Old Buzz would have been treading lightly too.....
Yep. Greenburg has just parked everything until next year when he hopes that everyone will forget what he has promised. Not good enough Todd. These things have been issues for many years now and not much has been done to fix them.
I agree that Buzz went far too lightly. Any journo worth their salt would have grilled Greenburg on those topics.
