Goodbye to the 2009/2010 parra eels

I have to say im sad to see the end of the 2009/10 line up but how the hell did we go from that outrageous run in 09 to the horrid season 2010.
At the start of the season i was already talking about booking my grand final seats !!! then watched game after game in disbelief, even the games we won were riddled with mistakes and near misses !  now im no smarty pants when it comes to how things are done in the NRL but anyone can see there's issues at Parra & is it just me or did Jarryd Hayne, Krisnan Inu & Daniel Mortimer forget what they do for a living ???

  • Hayne didn't have a bad year, he didn't do the amazing things every week or as regular as he did towards the end of last year, but look at the stats, he was in the top 3 of the run meters, runs made and a few other ereas, he was still the man in our side.

As for Inu, I think when he signed to go across the ditch he closed up shop, he is a freakishly talented player, but he was playing tetris out there on the wing most of the time. Mortimer just wasn't mentaly ready for the second year, Hayne went through it and came out better, hope Daniel does too.
  • I was wondering what that thing sticking out of Inu's sock was, and what he grabbed and looked at for a few minutes everytime the other team scored a try and lined up for a goal.
