Donate to help Jimmypop fight cancer

As we all know, our fellow member Jimmypop is battling cancer. At 25 years old he's been diagnosed with diffuse instrinsic pontine glioma, a brain tumour that is often inoperable. He has however managed to book in renowned brain surgeon Charlie Teo to see what he can do. Cancer treatment is not cheap and neither is being treated by a specialist. The rugby league community is known for supporting each other and so once again it's time to give a fellow Eels supporter a helping hand. Below is the link to Jimmy's GoFundme page, any donation counts. We're all linked by blue and gold blood so let's dig deep to help a mate out. • Super can you please link the original jimmy blog into your blog so people can understand a bit better what you are talking about if they missed it.

  • No I didn't know about this. Very sad to hear hope you pull through ok Jimmy. I'll help as well.

  • Of course I'll donate a little money Jimmy. More importantly I'll be sending my thought and prayers your way. You seem like an incredibly brave person mate.
  • Info for international supporters as well. Bank, branch, street address, swift # ... any information so we can chip in..
    • Links in the blog Vlozy, its a very safe method on a site that deals with this type of stuff, people can just type in their card number, then enter the amount, it takes 2 minutes, great to see support coming in all the way from PNG, love your work mate.

  • This is the most important blog here, a fine and very courageous young man Jimmy, in his time of need, a 25 year old bloke who is the same age as many here, this is the time to rally together as a family and support one of our own, just imagine yourself in the same situation and have a think about what the support with mean.

C'mon lads, lets support a stunningly courageous young man and a young member of the Eels brotherhood in his time of need.

    • Working on getting something going on over at the kennel to help out. Although we have our rivalries sometimes we got to unite for a greater cause
    • Lol yeah but ill be civil hear as a guest im only here to try and help a bit is all. Its not forgotten the help of one of our brothers received from this site a while back.
  • I've had an expression of interest from The Kennel to raise some money on this. Would you like to have just the story and gofundme details put up, or do you want to run some bets??

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
