      • LOL.

When I read his name I picture a Gloria Jeans being handed over with "Teancum" written on it....I prefer it with milk&sugar myself

I'm gonna have to call him Tbro out of necessity

        • I believe Teancum Brown was the highest seller on the Dulux colour chart in the 70s.

          • In those days Teencum's Dad's name was Glasscock, he changed it to Brown because he was sick of being told we could see you were  were coming.

Sorry Fishy, with your Avatar that is probably unfair!

  • I wouldn't rule Api out of playing as a utility across the back line

EA will know but im pretty sure hes played some 5/8

    • Yea he has played some 5/8. But FB is easily his best spot

      • Yes he was impressive and now join's the same queue/crew as Joash Pappalii lining up behind the first choice 5/8 and the fullback.

I think his key issue will be his physique, if he becomes more solid, i think he could be a good centre, just not built like one yet, but his anticipation to follow the play looks outstanding, great hands....don't know about defence and outright speed. It would  be brilliant to see us develop a Casy McLean.

Good players like this kid develop as wingers/fullbacks and if no openings appear 5/8 to centre.

How tough is he EA, I have heard that on some occasions, he has let you down.

  • Sam Moa take a bow I loved our physicality and defensive contact the whole game.

All but a TDS poor defensive read we hold the sharks to zip.

13/15 with the ball 2 handling errors and the above is now the benchmark it's exactly the type of stats you build your side around and take some confidence down to Melbourne. This has to be the floor if we want consistency.

We now have depth within the club which is great to see.Tuivaiti looks like he's grown this off season and looks like he could really adds some impetus in the middle of the park.In saying that though I saw it again when he gets tired he'll get targeted like he did tonight missed on the repeated effort.Seen this before.

TDS I don't know man you haven't got me convinced yet.

The big units coming on all added something in attack and defense I thought as above there's definitely depth and if they stay on track we could have a devastating pack in a year or 3.

Defensive effort can't be questioned tonight for the most part I loved the inside pressure and the first up contact which really secures the edges love it.

Errors were to a minimum again this performance has to be our floor not our ceiling.

Great first hit out it leaves you wanting to see more.

    • I agree. TDS is still young but for me Smith is the better player and the one I rather keep

      • We have to see what Ryles sees. He agreed to giving him a deal 2 years longer than Smith. He knew what he had with Smith when signing Da Silva, wasn't like Smith all of a sudden performed after Da Silva was signed. So Ryles sees something and perhaps is banking on Da Silva being the future. But if by early 2027 Da Silva hasn't got it, Smith is still here.

    • Coryn, that is not our floor
