Every time I watch Twidle he seems to just ooze class. With Iongi signing long term, where does that leave Twidle? Can he play another position or are we going to see him leave for opportunities
Twiddle does not have the speed, acceleration or footwork like Papalii and Iongi. However, he has a very strong footy IQ in attack. Arguably better than both Papalii and Iongi in that department. In NSW Cup he is very good sweeping out the back and chosing his moments when to raid short sides as we saw today.
Unfortunately us keeping him may not be our choice. There is no path to the NRL as a fullback at the club. With his lack of speed and acceleration I also wonder if any NRL club would want him as their first choice. Hence I why I believe he needs to be developed into a utlity that can play Fullback/centre/5-8/lock.
I really hope we find a way to keep him. The only spine member remaining from our 2023 SG ball winning team. Obviously Pryke, Tuivita, Alamadine and Spence still wth the club as well.
Super impressive defence. Still errors and way to many penalty's and six agains. Really interested to know how many of those infringements were warranted or was the ref just over the top
"Yes I believe he will start there but this will also be one of Ryles's biggest challenges over the next couple of years. We look like we have some very talented players coming through looking for opportunities. Ryles may have to make a tough call on…"

I think I have seen Twiddle do that play 40 times in Flegg and nsw cup over the past 2 years

Utility or leave for better opportunities
EA, Twidle is a keeper for me; he seems to have a bit of that class and reads the play

Twidle is too good for NSW Cup.
