  • Geez that game vs Titans is gonna come back to haunt us.
    • And the loss to the Warriors even though it was in NZ

Probably should have jagged one of the Raiders games as well.

But yeah that Titans loss was terrible especially after the great start
    • Funny you mention that - was thinking the exact same thing today.

  • Also this prediction has Penrith beating Manly in rnd 26

If that goes the other way Parra could easily be 6th
  • I have us 2nd if we beat the broncos, which would mean playing the broncos again at ANZ in the first week of the finals.

5th if we lose to the broncos and playing the cowboys
  • People saying the game against the titans bla bla.
What about the games we won in golden point.

What if the Tigers kicked that goal.
  • What it doesn't take into account is that we really aren't that far off on for / against compared to the Roosters, Sharks, Manly, NQld or Penrith. If we were to beat Newcastle by about 20 this week and the Roosters (playing the Storm) and Sharks (playing the Broncos) were to even lose by 10, we'd be within 20 of the Roosters and 30 of the Sharks. And that's being conservative with the score lines.

I know it's been a long time since Parra has given any team a touch up and I'll be more than happy to see Parra win by 1 point assuming we can even get the win, but if we were to get up by 30 plus (40 or 50 would be nice), it's more than possible for Parra to have the third best f / a in the comp behind the Storm and Broncos after this weekend alone.
    • Newcaatle are playing better than what tbere llsition is i watched there last two games this is a danger game
    • Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. I'll take the win, but it'd be great to help our points differential in the process.

Hell On Eels replied to LB's discussion Two Hooker discussion
"Same here, MW. Both give us more depth, firepower, and starting options.
Ryley is ahead, but TDS has wheels you can't coach, and an unknown ceiling worth developing and being patient with."

SuperEel 22 replied to LB's discussion Two Hooker discussion
"That decision is ultimately why Ryles gets paid the big bucks. You also have to manage workload. Sure, we could ask Ryley to play 80 every week, but that would likely lead to his impact dropping and becoming less valuable to us."

Michael W. replied to LB's discussion Two Hooker discussion
"I think the two hooker rotation is the way to go, a lot of teams are doing it now. With the speed of the game increasing, the workload, and workmate, of Smith needs to be reduced enough for him to be at his best by seasons end, don't want him burnt…"

In our well-justified praise of Ryley Smith, there is a big thing being missed: his ability to read the game and footy IQ.
He is a couple of plays ahead and anticipating every move both in defence, primarily at present, but also in setting up the…
