- Gutho - He was alright. While he is the energy we need, he is not captain material. There has to be some co-relation why we shit the bed when our opponents get a player in the bin. Its down to your captain and halfback to dominate this period and we fail every time. New coach needs to change this mentality and captain
- Russel - He proved exactly what he should be. A value person. Someone on a max 200k that is a utility back. Covers centre and wing but should only be used as a depth player. No way in the world is he a starter.
- Asi - lacks any speed to defend at centre. Was the reason dogs scored their tries. Off to the super league. We can find a better depth haflback. Can we just find that can just tackle and defend first fm. I blame Barret for this more than Asi. Harper in their and we win.
- Penisni - Was solid
- Talagi - Was solid on the wing. Did get caught out once but that is expected for someone who has never played on the wing.
- DB - Did not run the ball enough. I love that he tries to cover defend but he over chases way too much on them so he is an easy step. Poor drop ball in the second half.
- Moses - Great in the first half. Hynes-Origin like performance in the second half. Horrible game management during the sin bin and and of the game. Kicked shit in the second half and did not want to get invovled enough when it mattered.
- Grieg - only one stint. He was horrible defensively in that stint. He was so lazy staying on the ground and at marker.
- Hands - some of his service was horrible today. Was throwing the ball way too heigh at times. Could tell he needed a break as his defence towards the end of his stint was horrible.
- RCG - Ran with great intent but dropped the ball when Moses passed it to him during the sin bin. He did miss 5 tackles.
- Carty - Rocks and diamonds. Throughs a cut out pass to the touchie which the dogs than score off. Dropped the ball at the end of the game. Yes it was a high tackle but no excuse to drop the ball. Missed 6 tackles.
- Tuilagi- He looked dangerous and apparently made 3 errors. I thought a couple were obvious strips against him. But still needs better grip. I thought he was barely provided any good ball. We passed the ball way to early to him which allowed players to get numbers into the tackle. Only a couple times we played deep into the line and gave him 1 on 1 chances where he was destructive.
- Hopgood - only played 34min. Barely played in origin and with the long turn around, he should have been on for longer.
- Lussick - I wanted DH on the bench as I knew Hands wouldnt last 80min. Hands was struggling at the end of his stint and when Lussick came on nothign changed. While he did not miss a tackle. Nearly every tackle he was invovled in was a quick play the ball.
- Paulo - We did not get him running at the smaller blokes enough.
- Lane - He has been better since moving to the middle but you can just see how he dozes in and out of games. Some times he was running and defending with intent. Some of those runs were really good. Other times he does not look interested and has 0 commitment. Need someone yellng at him all game to keep him on top of everything.
- Joe O - I thought he was great today.
Barrett:
I think this game essentially kicked him out of the coaching contention even though I think he was no chance. I understand Harper played NSW Cup on friday and SIvo was only injured after the game. So do we blame Barret for picking Asi or was he just stuck with Asi due to the circumstances. However, his lack off ability to fix the problem during the game. Could have swapps Dylan and Asi in defence.
Defence:
Other than the horrific edge defence from our outside backs I do notice a couple of things. When defending our red zone, we have no line speed which makes it hard to defend shape. Our forwards are big and slow. Its why dogs defence against shapeis so much better than ours. Dogs have small, mobile forwards who have great line speed.
You could see the footwork of the small blokes were really challenging our forwards. We need to offload couple forwards and use mobile forwards to help our defence. It why eels and manly our so shit defensively. Too many big middles that have no lateral movement or line speed.
Attack:
We had our chances in the second half but bombed them. I am also so pissed about the game plan. Why did we try go around Dogs so much when we looked our best going through them. They have small blokes in the middle, so fucking use that power game and chase the collision lol. We played to the dogs strength by trying to go around them. Short passes and direct running was needed.
Thought we didnt ice some overlaps well either. Some down to pass selection and some down to no speed to take avdantage of it.
Ref:
I through the ref was horrible even though we had a better penalty count. Not blaming them for the loss as we should have iced the game. But I thought in all those lost balls, it was clear the dogs players stripped at the ball. The Asi not try in the first half where he was over the line. He would have had to score since the ball was on the line and he got rolled over. Crichton hands came under late. But the ref went with a no try to the bunker.
When Carty lost the ball he got a high tackle first which was the exact same thing Moses did to Burton at the end of the game. One a penalty and the other not.
He did other shit things but oh well. Fk this club is shit.

Gutho is done at fullback, switch dylan to fullback and gutho to 5/8, the season is done so it's worth having a look.
I rarely ever comment on games but watching today's match I need to vent my frustration of D Brown. It is just my opinion and only mine that he has the same party mould as Andrew John's, I hope the new coach finds new ways to unlock a talent that is in a 800k thanks for coming wonderland
I think Dylan will be better under a different coach. He was too comfortable and not developing under BA. They often joke that BA and DB were father and son. He needs a coach that will rip him a new on.

How do we know his talent isn't already unlocked and what you see is what you get ? Hes a big boy now , does he really need a coach to teach him how to play ? I think DylBoobs has just been very fortunate to be naturally gifted enough to get by , coupled with many people blowing smoke up his arse , and leading many to believe he will keep getting better and better . But I've seen no real improvement in 2 years other than the better game here and there than usual with the rare blinder once a quarter , He most certainly ain't in the same mould as John's in my book mate . John's was a competitor , a bad loser , and the total opposite to DylBoobs . DylBoobs will be at his local tonight , spending his millions and sleeping like a baby after that loss. Johns may have been out partying , but fuck you'd have gotten some competition for that win today and if he didn't win there'd be no interviews m no smiles and probably not even a hand shake . And he'd be burning about he loss until his next win.
I see DylBoobs more like Hayne . With far less talent.

Well options do differ mate, even Andrew Johns has admitted in his early days he was hit and miss with games due to his partying ways, yes he did stew on losing making him maybe concentrate on his next game but like I said we will see in time if and when D Brown will make the next step up
He'll be gone sooner rather than later.
Next year if we get a good coach and just tidy up our top 30 a bit, we could have a great season.

Anyone that says ba left the club in good stead are either tct fan boys or are delllusional. We're now permanent bottom 4 club thanks to Brad and today we're totally outplayed by a 12 man dogs team losing two forwards to concussion early and having to play a hooker in the centres in the last 15.
Barrett's call on not having an outside back in the 19 man squad yesterday also means he's out of the running.
