Lachlan Galvin looks set to be axed by the Wests Tigers for their Easter Monday clash against Parramatta.
Sources with knowledge of the situation not authorised to speak publicly confirmed Adam Doueihi was in line to wear Galvin’s No.6 jersey against the Eels.
Galvin’s management told the Tigers on Monday they were not interested in any extension from the Tigers beyond 2026, which prompted the club to quickly – very publicly – declare the 19-year-old would be leaving at the end of next season.

Omg at least we aren't the only dopey club in the comp! We might be run by snails but at least we didn't act like spoiled sore losers I guess.
He is on a pittance for his worthiness ...they will release and make it easy for dogs or Penrith to grab. Wish it was us but what have we shown him that his game will improve :((
This is big. Good timing for the Eels. Disruption around the Tigers
If anything I'd rather he plays as that would distract them more. Him being dropped galvanizes them, mind the pun lol.
No way Benji does that, it is a story made up from social media and family reaction. Benji's job is on the line and they haven't made finals for over 10years but are a chance this year. Their fans are stupid calling for him to be dropped when he is 1 of their best players. I don't think he is worth $1million at this stage but if he signed for a million the same fans would be cheering him. He is clearly a vital part of their team so he can't be dropped.
Dylan Brown should be dropped by Parra though. Dylan isn't delivering like Galvin at Tigers and Parra are not going to make the finals. Ryles job isn't on the line like Benji either, this year anyway.
Benji if he has dropped Galvin has done the right thing to maintain control in the squad. One thing he didn't need was a grendade to get thrown into the group and it unravels their form.
Even though I think they are decent, not as good as what people are saying as they have not beaten anyone of note. But Benji knows he can still beat Parra without Galvin but with players wanting him gone it would distract them more.
There is none of that with Brown, so no need for Ryles to drop Brown in his eyes unless there is a replacement banging down the door at 6 which there is not. If there was we wouldn't be looking at Galvin at all.
