Future front row

For a while now I've been thing about different ways we could line up in the future (next couple of years). I feel this line up is different, but in a way dangerous.8.Tepai9.Peats10.Paulo11.Edwards12.Mau13.FolauMost people on here dislike folau as a winger or centre for his lazy defence and attitude. However Folau is a big unit with great footwork and we saw that with some of his tries last season, in particular the one where he stepped GI whilst he had players on him. I remember that he was in an interview last season and he said he much preferred the contact aspect of the game rather than the running. His footwork and power are my reasons for him being put there.Tepai to move into props to replace Timmy, mostly because of his power and our abundance of second rowers.I've been thinking about a few years down the track when we don't have players like-Watmough-Scott-Mannah-Wicks

  • Twai is a future front row prospect, with Mannah and Junior plus Alvaro we are looking good in the front row department.

    • I'd say Twal to play FG late 2017, 2018 season for sure.

That's when I'd say his total development will be complete but of course, it may come earlier depending on injuries.

  • This is for a few seasons ahead
  • Mannah is a waste of salary cap

    • are you aware that mannah is on less money on the cap than you think.

He is a long serving player and the only one at our club.

Its best you research before you comment.

      • Long serving players aint gona win you premireships mate you do your reserch, if you dont have a solid captain and your players aint gona listen to you, you surely aint doing something right mate.Mannah is replacable tepai could take his spot easy

  • lol, he's the only player who gets the 8 year exemption, so we probably get him fairly cheap on the cap.  I've never rated him as a captain but he's one of our more consistent players each week.  This season was one of his best ever.

    • I reckon we can do better without him, J paulo makes more of a impact with his hit ups and carries

  • Mannah makes more metres per run than any other forward in our side and has done so for years. So... You're wrong. Also, he usually gets a very quick play-the-ball because he wins the wrestle.
  • Totally agree FW.
