After all the seasons i've watched this has been by far the worst standard. Judiciary, rules, refereeing, 3rd party rort, signing deadline etc etc. Rugby league is a bloody amazing sport and should be light years ahead of where it currently is. I though it couldn't possible get any worse than Davis Gallop but then we get David "shepherd's pie" Smith and Greenberg. They've trailed captains challenge for 3 yrs in lower grades. How many more years of trials do you need need to make a phucking decision. Referees are beyond help. I've come to the conclusion that its not the actual refs to blame but the training and support they get from the NRL.
True story: I emailed the NRL dopes about a variety of shite. They email back very defensively praising what they have done especially regarding lower grades informing me that the league is putting extra emphasis on it. Ok so i them go to check out the lower grades info on the official NRL website to check the recent premiership winners, top try scorers, tackles, line breaks, etc etc, the only stat they had on the side was the wooden spoon winners for the last 3 years! What the phuck! All be it this was in the David Gallop years but not much has changed!
Another true story: I bumped into Greenturd at sushi place. I was sitting next to him. I was like whats going on with the NRL with regards to blah, blah blah... He responds " yeh i agree i sit at home and shake my head regarding all of it". "What the fuck" i was thinking? Exactly the same as his interviews, loves to appease the situation but does nothing!
Not into negative stuff but if the fans don't speak out nothing will change. Unfortunately unlike soccer and other major sports it seems like NRL admin don't give a stuff what the fans think.

I agree mate, the games up the shit and imo the blokes running it are having their nests feathered by the people they are selling the game too, theres a huge stench and it smells like a rort to me.
I have never seen NRL is such a state of disarray. Some of the decisions are diabolical. The present administration (Smith, Grant, Greenberg, and Commission) are destroying the game I grew up with. The AFL are light years ahead of the NRL.
Unless some major changes are made, the game will not exist in a few short years. I think the respective CEO's of clubs need to launch a protest at the way the game has disintegrated. The CEO's must be included in all negotiations.
Getting rid of the so called Commission is also a priority.
