That's what I was saying for a while that to make inroads in the market currently we need to manipulate it by offering big cash to players who are in teams where they have cap issues or not getting much game time or getting a clean out.
Thats why I mentioned NAS as an example where he is on $900k Melbourne want to keep Pap, Meaney, Hughes, Katoa, Blore etc, having $650k-700 available after we take NAS would help them and we get a decent Prop with mongrel. But thats what I meant situations like that we can benefit from with our cap space
Few teams like sharks broncos storm roosters who are up against it yeah, also titans have 3 fullbacks on big money so something will have to give there. Our books are almost clean so can load up from these teams.
Exactly so what are we doing different now and how are we executing different off the field.Parras answer if planA don't work let's revert back to plan A.
The sooner everyone understands winning starts off the field before on it until Parra get this mindset then it's just fail in another guise.
Jack Gibson mentioned this 50 years ago so what's changed.Whens the last time Parra have been a powerhouse off the park.Coming up 40 years and counting.
Parra will be specials for the spoon so I hope the club is pulling all strings to start buying some decent replacement players or this season is all on them and no one else.
No they wont be unless they lose to Gold Coast of course. Let's see if Newcastle win tomorrow night also as they are not looking good either. Moses misses 2 games at best and is back again, we here talking he is out for the year.
If Gold Coast win next week, i'll jump on the wagon.
I will say f***ing Manly, lost to both Newcastle and Gold Coast who are both equal with us due to beating Manly.
Tbf we also smoked manly without Moses and Lomax. They just really bad

Nevermind new players how bout we head hunt a new GM of football or a new CEO hell we've just put in place a new chairman.
Lets get the decision making areas soughted first so we at least no we are headed in the right direction and give JR the actual proper support he needs.
New players is a band aid on a wound that needs stitches.

Well put. This is what gets me mad. It's either incompetence or ignorance but it's definitely not strategic. Telling Sanders (and Talagi) his pathway was blocked but having Moses and Brown with get out clauses is just negligent. There doesn't seem to be any long term plan in place at all. We're debuting juniors sure, but it's not translating into wins. As someone said Ryles and the Board haven't been here for 40 years. They see this year as year 1 and we should all be patient as they spend the next few years slowly building a Top 8 roster. No Premiership strategy or aspirations, we just merely want to be sort of competitive. And profitable. If we're lucky and the strong clubs fall over in front of us Steven Bradbury style then maybe we can win a Premiership one day. It's laughable where this club is currently.
We won with a similar scoreline against Manly. Manly have lost to us, Titans and Newcastle in the space of a month. If I was a Manly fan id be worried about the spoon just as much as us. They have been bloody ordinary for a while now.
We are playing better but key injuries could really hurt us.
"Dom De Stradis runs great lines and works hard. He is like Briton Nikora. Small built. Under 100kg. He is 21 so older than the above.
Polley is only 17 this year so is SG ball next year unlike the above. He will be a gun.
Jim is a big boy and IMO a…"
"He didnt have the best game. I do not think we can make a judgement between Coinakis and Smith yet. Too early. Coinakis only played his first JF game today."
"EA, how was Coinakis in Flegg? Do you think he is that good that he could overtake Smith in time as the starter, pushing in 2027, or is Smith the better prospect?"

We played for the spoon last year with a few extra near million dollar players.

Yep just thinking the same thing.
