Very surprising stuff, hes been poor this year but BA obviously see's something.
Im hearing Willis Meehan will not be offered a contract next year, he's failed to impress on and off the park.
At the time it was just that he wanted to play next year and was hoping that Parra or someone gave him a contract nothing about Parra actually signing him.
way pass it I hope it not with us
I think Frank is a great signing not just because of his football ability and experience. He also brings a lot of leadership for the young islander boys coming through. He is the sort of mentor who can help make good citizens of these young men and women who are watching on looking for guidance.
And personally I thought Frank was actually playing his best footy during the game he got injured. At his age he needs more R&R than a younger bloke might. Frank never got an off-season after his stint with Super League last year. At the very least next year Frank will play for Wenty and be terrific for development of our young forwards. I've watched Frank train on numerous occasions during his rehab recently and he gave it everything, a real good example for Willis Meehan at the time, I hope it is an inspiration for his future, wherever he ends up.
