Forget Kimmorely

Kimmorely will be announcing his retirement today according to the Daily Telegraph and Danny Weidler on twitter.
So does this mean Cooper has agreed to terms?
It seems that Kimmorely was our fallback option from all reports depending on Cooper signing.
Will have to wait til Cooper comes back from Sth Africa. It would be announced will he is away with the wallabies.

  • im p=retty sure coopers not in the starting squad for the next test aswell.............. mite be readinf to far into it............!!
  • Deans said he was no certain starter, i'd say it would depend if he commited to the ARU before kick off or not.
  • Deans also said that he was very confident of him staying on big sports breakfast, but u just never know, it's a nervous wait for all us parra supporters!!
  • I'm sure Kimmorley would have made up his mind about retirement on his own terms, not on the reliance of a deal from Parramatta.
If he wanted a farewell game he would have to announce it this week and he wouldn't be wanting to waiting around for a few weeks when Cooper decides his future. I believe there was at least one other club courting Kimmorley and if he really wanted to play another year surely he could have taken a paycut to be at a number of clubs.
Plus there is the fact the dogs offered him a coaching role for next year.
I really dont think this points to Cooper signing at all. Let's hope I'm wrong :)
  • Well surely we'll sign someone, anyone? please sign somebody!!
