Fark Me, its not that hard.

I don't say much, yet when I do I don't fark around, so here it is.......

*The NRL needs to sell tickets @! $10 a pop so they sell out the stadiums.

*Rugby league is a game that is better viewed via TV, where as AFL is a far better game watched live.

*The NRL needs to accept that the AFL will always draw greater coin via ticket sales and not try to match/compete.

*THE NRL NEEDS TO RELISE THAT A FULL STADIUM PROMOTES THE GAME ON TV.

*THE NRL NEEDS TO RELISE THAT A FULL STADIUM SHOWN ON TV BRINGS COMERCIAL SPONSERSHIP.............

This in turn brings more coin.

Its not that hard.

  • Totally agree mate, they need to drop prices and get more bums on seats.

  • fill the stadiums and maybe I will watch an ANZ/Allianz/Titans game. Those empty games are so cringeworthy and embarrassing imagine what outsiders are thinking and just imagine someone overseas watching
  • Nothing worst than watching a game at ANZ with about 5000 in the crowd.
  • I agree, mate. RL was always a blue collar sport and the pricing should reflect that.

  • They need to go back to old stadium and, allianz and so on. Home ground s full is much better than a big stadium empty.
  • Completely agree!!!! They should do like in the states... everyone thinks basketball and ice hockey are always complete sellouts... which they are!!!! The secrets??! Most of those stadiums are 18 - 20k max!!
  • Agree
    Needs to become a habit
Needs to be a price an average supporter can afford every week

Maybe they can just offer season tickets at about $10 a game and still charge as much as they like for a one off
  • They had $15 tickets to all the games this week. It was advertised on the Matty Johns Show
  • Agree. Normal games cost $25 on average and they get 10,000 fans at most. If it's $10, they might get 25,000 people to a game. Same gate ticket revenue at $250K but have the opportunity to earn more revenue from food and merchandise sales... not to mention building a footy game day culture for future generations. The NRL and clubs need to take a punt at lowering ticket prices!

"EA, do you have any thoughts on Risati? Heard big raps on him. The way people talk about him, he could be a long-term six solution, alongside Fletcher at seven. Who knows. We're talking years down the track, but just curious."
