  Did you watch any of last seasons games? With the attacking plays and defensive structures we used and all round quality in the squad why would we need to sign anyone?

  I think the club has no money left in the salary cap, hence why there has been nowt said. Comes from poor years of management behind the scenes. Other club like Easts have mastered how to use TPA's and all that caper, this club hasn't.

  It definitely seems like the Eels have little cap space for 2019 and rather than pay players to play elsewhere, like the Eels have done in previous years, they are going to grin and bear 2019 to be in a good position come 2020. I know Eels fans won't be happy about next season because of this but for our long term future it is the smart thing to do.
  
  I actually think Gurr is doing a great job. He is looking at things from a business and long term prosperspective, not short term and costly perspectives.

        Too many on here are like athletes who hear a noise in the crowd and think its the starting pistol and they leap out of the blocks, their crowd of followers shout out the encouragement to keep running and off they go oblivious to what's reality, even as they approach what was to be the finishing line and found they have lost out and wasted energy.

        No good trying to second guess what's going on as we will all know in due and good time, and lets remember the club is in charge of things and not some feather fans that want everything, or most anyway, their way.

        Don’t listen to Al, he’s just a negative spastic who likes to kick our team while we’re down. Calls fellow fans unicorns when we don’t agree with his opinions. Shows the kind of “fan” he is when he’s writing off a season and making all these assumptions off a technicality when we are still 5 months away from the beginning of the season.
