excited an worried at the same time

il start with the excited part an that is that ant mitchell gets his crack having watched him thru the juniors etc kinda always been hanging out for him to get a go because theres obvious potential there im hoping he can provide that extra punch when hes injected into the game that we seem to be lacking an from what iv seen in the past from ant he will be able to provide that im still undecided on the timing of the debut considering this is our biggest game of the year however still looking forward to seeing the kid in action come friday an now for the worried part which concerns morts an what this will do for his already low confidence i mean i didnt think his performance last friday was any worse than the previous 5 performances which pends the question why now an whats it guna do for his long term confidence i no its more about winning this friday than any 1 players confidence going forward but morts is a kid wev invested our future in an rightly so i feel maybe not as a 7 but definatly at his best(5/8) if we stuck with him in side for 22 rounds y not the next 4 or maybe more games to come?? however his attitude is 100% which will hopefully hold in good stead to return to form an to the first grade side only time will tell GO THE MIGHTY EELS

  • That was the most painful blog I have read this year.

Please learn how to use, full stops, commas etc.
  • We all hope Mortimer regains form and comes back to lead us to a title but theres been calls for his head for weeks now .We know that Keating s going to the dogs so its with reservation that he s been promoted above Mortimer .Hope Mitchell plays well and puts his hand up for next year.Know its a crunch game but we havent been winning and he could be the spark we need.

"When you look at it that way, 1.2 is a lot. I reckon he has more in him than what he's showing at the tigers. Under Ryles he'd be a different/better player in my opinion.

Even the defensive urgency isn't there for him anymore."
