If wishart,campbell, metcalf and other names are hitting the market who knows what will happen. Those 3 definitely make more sense next to Mitch then Pezet. Maybe Lorenzo or Joash just take the 6 themself anyway. Lot of moving parts
There are a few out there who don't fully understand what's happened here.
Parra all but had pezet signed to a long term deal, the broncos have come in late and pezet and braith have chosen the broncos but the broncos can't accommodate pezet in 2026. Melbourne have probably told anasta they don't want pezet for 2026 as he chose to enact his get out clause and would rather develop someone else so anasta has gone back to the eels and said, " hey rylesy old buddy old pal, remember how i told you you had pezet but then changed my mind?, well guess what, you can have him for 2026. Go on help an old mate out".

Rubbish, more likely Lorenzo is not ready for 2027.....which punt do you want? If Lorenzo doesn't measure up and he wasn't at year end 25 in Cup. Lorenzo can still do exactly the right or wrong thing and you are left high and dry when Pezet waddles off to Broncs. If he is no good and ends up a failure we are both Eels and Broncs up Shit Creek!.....not to mention what it does to our developing players.

Im still pretty happy that we get Pezet for 2026 but, if this team can somehow get into a top 6ish spot maybe Moses can take them all the way. Would rather have pezet for one year then no years. Give Mitch a chance at it
