Let's say Moses picks up a 4-6 week injury, guess what Pezet can cover it and Joash steps into 6 and instead of getting flogged every week you might win some games to stay a float.

Oh the HB situation 2027 is a bit different for sure. But Im not sure Lorenzo would be sticking around if Pezet was signed long term to play next to Moses. We aren't really a club who has that kind of pull to keep juniors.
At least there is a path. But if you sign 5/8 long term then you want them more than Lorenzo but 2028 is long time. The perfect plan would have been Pezet 7 and Lorenzo 6. If there is a clear path at least that is better for juniors.
We went for Galvin, we would have lost Lorenzo then too.

I do think the media does hype up these "young star" halves a bit too much as well. Guys like Galvin Pezet sure they are good nrl players but probably blowing a bit too much smoke up them. Young Katoa and strange at raiders are actually "stars"
