  • I think the stats show why he is suited to the middle rather than the edge. His a defensive forward. But zero impact in attack on the edge. He really needs more time in the gym to strengthen up. His runs make minimal meters.

    • Yeah he's a workhorse middle for sure, no real threat on the edge. Williams and Hopgood you could possibly use on the edges and start Charlie in the middle ?

      • Yeah I thought he was going to move Williams to the edge. Once Moretti is back you could have him and Junior rotating. I think with both Kelma and Kitione out you have to move Williams to the edge, possibly even Hopgood if he is going to find Brown a spot rotating with Walker.

        • I'm even fine with Samrani on the edge, at least he has some go. But let's see what this week brings. Tuaviti looked great as well 🫡

  • Next week

    1: I Longi

    2: Z Lomax

    3: B Simonson

    4: S Russell

    5: J Addo Carr

    6: J Papali

    7: M Moses ( hoping he's back

    8: Jr Paulo

    9: R Smith

    10: C Guymer ( better up front for 20 mins )

    11: J Williams

    12: J Samarani

    13: D Brown ( he needs to run )

    14: T Da Silva

    15: D Walker

    16: J Hopgood ( play in front row )

    17: S Tuivita

    18th D Hawkins

    Kautoga won't play

    • Pretty close but doubt they risk Moses in cold ass Canberra. Could see Moretti back but. I'd start Walker over brown but both play same role and alternate.

    • I also didn't think doorey was to bad in his run, could use him on the edge if need. He plays with a lot of effort

      • I was not impressed with Samrani defence in NSW Cup over the weekend. I too would play Doorey over him. While I do not like Guymer on the edge I think he and Williams have to play there next week with Kautoga & Tuilagi both unavailable

    • Moses is out for another week JR confirmed.

No way Samrani is starting ahead of Hopgood

  • I drop Brown all together have Hopgood lock

"Randy,  An interesting one.
I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.
I'd choose you for x-factor even if you only had 5 minutes of form."

"Hoe, I dislike the idea that a player can be selected for Aust with only 480 club minutes on show...and not all of them good. How can he have form without playing?
Perhaps a rule that said 10 nrl games to be eligible for Aust would help everyone"
