Eels vs Tigers 38 degree heat

As the title states its going to be 38 degrees on Sunday afternoon, its going to be super interesting to see how they have approached this game.

How does everyone think we will go ?

  • We will win i reckon. They should

  • I predict Matterson will pass out and the stadium first aid crew will have to use the paddles to revive him. Not due to the heat , but due to him having to buy a few waters from the kiosk at $7 a pop.

    • hahaha

  • Last time we played in any significant heat, we were thrashed by the Dolphins in Darwin. We then lost the next 4 matches. With Api returning for Wests, I won't be tipping Parra

    • It was different type of heat. Heat with sun out is different to heat at night. I would rather heat of a night than heat with sun belting down.

  • We were awful against the Storm in 33 degree heat last week. We've never done particularly well in those games we take to Darwin. And I'd prefer to forget that time in 2018 when I sat on Brookvale Oval hill and we got walloped 54-0 in 40 degree heat (my family live on the peninsula.)

    • As long as Ryles doesn't warm them up for 45 mins in it we might have a chance.

      • Some genius coaching that was...

  • These guys are professional athletes, heat should not be an issue. It's a home game and expect them to play better then last week.
