Eels vs Bulldogs 3.2.1

3. Lomax. Absolute weapon. Need to find the best way to use him asap.

2. Ryley Smith. Instant impact. He's a terrier

1. Hawkins. Good back up. Much better than Volk. And can kick.

  • lol Smith 2? He butchered the attack 2 times.

    • That may be so, but he offered something that was lacking with Lussick. He's doing OK, noting he's only played 3 NRL games.

      • Yep you like Ryley Smiths energy he certainly try's to up the tempo and change the game when he gets on.For me Lussick's service sucks his left to right delivery is average and he doesn't have great distance passing off the deck from the ruck.

We need a starting 9 badly now more so than ever.

    • Honestly, what do you expect? He is chasing points when he comes on when your spine has been inneffective as a whole.

He brings energy, determination and and eagerness to lead the line. For only a few games in he is doing extremely well.

  • 3. Lomax

    2. Hopgood

    3. Hawkins

I get Hopgood gets a bit disjointed in attack at times but his line speed and tackle count was off the chart.

Big ups to Hawkins for looking ok in his first game. Made his tackles, straighten the attack and kicked pretty well. Seems a composed type.

  • I'd like to see Lomax as captain while Mitch is out. Junior's leadership is hardly thrilling.

  • I thought Paulo had a good game after a looooong time. Hawkins was good too. Lomax obviously best on park

    • Paulo was so much more dominant

      I actually noticed his runs

      some were v good

      • His runs and his defensive hits too. He was actually trying to put massive hits on, such a handy change.

      • I did as well Carlo, credit to Jr

Nightmare Off-Season replied to Roy tannous's discussion Keons asking price revealed👀👇

I see Keon's price as irrelevant (within reason), because he is an absolute no brainer for the Eels.

Paulo was fantastic last season, though, he’s fighting the clock & Keon is a perfect replacement longer term.

He seems to suit JR’s preference…"
