Eels V Dogs 3-2-1

3 Points - Mitch Moses Led the team around superbly, had a hand in everything, kicked for near 800m

2 Points - Will Penisni  Ran hard making 7 tackle busts

1 Point - Jack Williams  Topped the tackle count with only 1 miss. Played the full 80 minutes and was everywhere in defence.

Special mention Junior Paulo with 169 odd metres from 55 minutes with 64 post contact meters

Well done boys, a great win that not many saw coming including myself. Well done Ryles to get them back focused nd what a great way to honour our 86  champions at the game.

  • I just rewatched the game. Volkman needs to be careful. He hip dropped Preston a couple times to bring him down. If Preston's stayed down he would have got penalised

  • 3. Volkman  attack anf considering what the dogs did to talingi last week huge effort

2 Pryke stepped up on debut

1 Williams sure up that left edge best 2nd rower performance all season in defence

    Couldn't really fault anyone

    • If Su'A comes early, leave Williams on the left and put Su'A with Moses on the right.Tuilagi as impact off the bench. That is better balance for this squad.

  • No 321 here I thought the whole damn team was good tonight.

When I'm listening to the presser it was like a good old BA after match speech intent chasing the contact I mean who'd have thought that's important to winning a game of rugby league.

Most of all though you saw the players no matter who it was take pride in the badge and pride in the jersey if your a Parra fan that's all you can ask for.The key now is consistency can we do it against a hot Manly and a coach in Kieran Foran whose sprinkled the magic dust and has turned back the ⏰.No turbo but our guys are going to have to be on there game again consistency is everything.Feels good now let's see if we can keep this sought of feels going. We've had a rough start need to keep the momentum going.

  • Great to see everyone voting differently, shows the quality across the park.

  • 3 - Moses. Kicked them to death.

2 - Will Penisini. Tough carries every time. He saved us on numerous occasions when every other run in the set was average.

1 - Saxon Pryke. Super impressed with his debut and he needs some recognition. 39 minutes, 13 hit ups, 93 metres, 32 post contact metres, 30 tackles, zero missed tackles and zero errors. Incredible debut.

  • Honestly hard to split, the whole team deserves at least a 1!

3 - Will Penisini – I think it was his best ever game for us.
2 - Junior – His best game for us this year. He was the dominate forward on the field today.
1 - Saxon for such a strong debut.

    Special mentions

Jack Williams and Charlie Guymer boy have we been missing mongrel like this on our edges
Nanva has stepped up in difficult times.
Moses probably deserves a 2 or 3 but I'm splitting hairs over the bad Captains challange.

  • The official Daly M points awarded for this match is interesting.
    Moses 5 points

    Volkman 4 points

    Walker 2 points

    Bronson Xerri 1 point

    • I was amazed at Pryke's maiden game. In cricket terminology "what a innings."

  • 3. Everyone.

Everyone dug in and fought hard. Even Brian Kelly had a good game and was busy. Set up a nice try for Joash.

Can we have the Parra Old boys honoured every game?

"He's been in awesome form this year. I doubt he will keep it up, but he will be getting much bigger offers than he would have this time last year. I think he's worth $600k but he could get offers of $800k or more."
