Makes you wonder, dosnt it. Every year it feels like we read reports from people attending training sessions, stating the boys look super fit, the training has been relentless, training has been stepped up. The boys worked harder this year then last year yada yada yada. It has all come to nothing and we have looked slow, unfit and at times simple way behind the other teams.

Id like a fit team that actually applies themselves when the going gets tough in defense. I watched a clip the other day with a team scoring on us, where at least 5 of our players gave up the chase / follow back and started walking. In the end any of those 5 that had put in to get back could have stopped the try.

Fitness and mental application in defense has really looked our downfall in recent times. New coach, new players, new attitude hopefully.

Onwards and Upwards.

"These will be Rush's first signings. I think Sam and Williams will get done. Sam's management we're holding off and I heard they didn't see eye to eye with Jim.
It will be good to see Rush's name associated with a few good re signings "

"What's important is although we missed O'Sullivan, Beach understands Parramatta cannot stand still and is making good moves. The signing of Rush was a very good move with Rush's experience and ability to get the job done, he seems like a game…"

that is the new pre-season comp thing isnt it? So looking forward to these games and see how the boys have gone in the new environment. Especially the likes of lomax and iongi and how they have settled in and a taste of the season maybe to come. Assume the first one will be with essentially a NSW cup side with a sprinking of 1st graders and the second will start with the big boys! so pumped for this season.

The good old usual suspects reporting the standard hardest pre season ever lines !

100% it seems certain people on other platforms love to toe the line and don't call it as they see it. Over it!!!

I'm worried Blue Eel, not only their fitness but their attitude, especially the high paid players (no names)
