I'm not a fan of Hawkins at 6, he is a 7 but I'll wait and see how it pans out.
Joash to 1 is an indication ryles isn't sold on him at 6 and so he shouldn't be.
Russell over simmonson is odd, simmonson is the better player.

Yeh, I'm with you. Hawkins is solid as an organiser, but not much of a threat running the ball. That said has to be our best option at 6, and it will be good to see if more kicking and play making options frees up Moses to run more.
I think coming up against two attacking centres is the reason Russell got it over Simmo, his defence this year has been impressive, Simmonson had some defensive issues against Canberra.

Could someone please enlighten me what papa brings to fb? I would suggest by his skill set a Ben Barba type? I am starting to think Dylbags has been put in the naughty corner. I never watched last weeks game but in the highlights Simmo rushed up a few times. Russell has improved a lot in defence. I think Lomax needs to move to centre next year. I like Hawkins at 6. Frees Moses running game. Provided his fit. Douihei is rumoured to be heading to Panthers so seems Cleary is not sold on Blaize. Twiddle must have been close.
Douihei not going to panthers, Russell is a better defender and Lomax has failed many times as a center at dragqueens, should never be center as rushes up in defense and throws too many stupid passes, needs to stay on the wing as is his best position.
He stll rushes in defence on the wing as well - he can't help himself.
I am not sure what people expected outside of the Simmonson call. I am all for the ommision of brown, the future is now. Ryles has made his stance and i respect him sticking with it.
The season is over so lets just see how it does. I do not like the simmonson call, but maybe we see a shift coming close to kick off? Either way with the cattle we have the broncos round us up. Going to be a tough watch.
