            • In the next 12-24 months the club has to make some tough decisions around who is and isn't staying.Me if we don't show any great improvement or see finals footy I'm tearing it down and finding out how good these youngsters are.

If we are still struggling to recruit I'm flushing alot of the middle of the road stuff and starting again.

            • Fair enough. Rex has played a lot of centre, too.

              • I know Rex is very highly rated and a schoolboy for the Aussie union team from memory. So not saying he isn't good. Just that we have a very good one as well.

            • Do you see any avenue for Bamblett to break into FG? Like maybe Wing or Centre for time being?

              • Nah I think Bamblett will leave the club. If I was the Dragons, I would be chasing him hard.

                • Based on the nrl team our main players we must retain are:

                  - Fletcher (Moses heir)

                  - Talataina/Risati (one will be the long term 5/8 of the club)

                  - Coinakis (need a 3rd string hooker)

                  - Petrus, Naeur, Polley (backrow)

                  - Talagi, Koina, Popo, Nunn, Kotorac, Visconti (props)

                  - Bell (lock)

                  - Seuseu (centre)

                  - Roksuka, Sorovi, Bloomfield (wingers)

all these players have real first grade potential. Got to try keep them and develop most of them into FGers. Bamblett and Davis are there as well but with Iongi at the club can't really see them stay as fullbacks here.

                  • EA I have a different view on the merit of Fletcher to Moses throne, I consider Apa  to be a better choice.

And while I raved about Ryda last year where he was definetely dynamic, I find he's been overtaken of late by Steve Nunn and our discovery yesterday of Zack Visconti.

                    • Talagi is a play one prop. So all his runs attract 4 defenders which doesnt result in many meters. However whoever takes the hit up after him gains the benefit. Talagi has better footwork, aggression and offload. Nunn just runs straight. The way we use Nunn to is we get him on 1 or 2 defenders unlike Talagi so Nunn looks better. Last year we used Talagi different which is why he looked more effective.

Sorry, but I cannot see Twiddle as a halfback. Fletcher is the heir to me.Twiddle is  1 or 6

                    • Thats okay EA, we're allowed to disagree, but can you point out why Apa can't be a 7.

                    • He has never played 7 coming through. He lacks the defence, kicking game and game managment skills to be a 7.

Twiddle has a great highlights package but the really small things and 1%ers which are non-negotiable for NRL players is something he lacks.
