      • Sounds like Lomax was about to sign with the Storm and throw a big F U at us. That would involve the NrL backing Zac's play, which is just plain wrong for our club.

        • They seemed to have indicated their intentions for sure. I don't think it crossed the NRL's desk just yet. I also wouldn't be surprised if Zac's team concedes prior to the hearing in the morning to avoid costs.

          • Yes Mutts, spot on!

“Back in November 2025, we granted Zac Lomax’s request for a release to pursue opportunities outside the NRL on the condition that he would not return to the NRL during the period of his original playing contract with our Club, without our written consent.”

”Zac had legal representation during the negotiations of his release. Zac accepted those conditions on the basis that he told us that his interests were focused on pursuing opportunities with rugby union, particularly R360. The release documentation was registered with the NRL. The NRL are aware of the conditions associated with the release.

            • So why isn't the NRL, vocally supporting us.

Mon signed off on the release. If we lose he did done fuck up. Yell him now his job is riding on this. Put his skin in the game so he understands he needs to fight

        • I have been saying that we are fighting Lomax AND NRL. I am proud of us for fighting. Now we have to fight on both fronts. We can do it but we will have to hold our nerve. Allies will appear

    • Analyst, That says Melb was about to sign him and the NRL would sign off on it.

      Trechery!!!...Betrayal!!!...Snakes!!!

      Get at 'em!!!

  • Watch for zac's team to play the mental health card next

    • Playbook 101 from this point.

      • You know Bluey I always smelled a rat in him leaving us, the fact that he started planning it in July confirms something must have happened.......I have been bitterly disappointed in us losing him from the time it was confirmed.....cancelling his Kangeroo Trip made no sense either.....mental health maybe a problem but stupidity doesn't qualify him!

Seriously what club would be wanting to take him at this point?

    • He can't legally claim mental health when he never stated mental health release. Parra has the power from here.

"Of course they want their cake and eat it too, it's Melbourne who for decades got their way. No someone is standing up to them and the NRL is stunned, plus the NRL world is behind the underdog."
