Wenty sign Bulldogs Prop Andy Saunders.

Parramatta feeder club Wentworthville have signed ex Penrith and Bulldogs prop Andy Saunders according to Fox, thanks Pepe for the heads up..

The 6'1, 105kg, 23 year old prop was a junior Kangaroo, captain of the premiership winning penrith NYC team and 2014 NYC prop of the year, and made his 1st grade debut for the dogs round 18 last year.

A wenty signing obviously at this stage but BA obviously see's some potential in him.

Welcome to the club Andy, hope your kick some ass for Wenty and push your way into the grade.

  • I’m sure  he was signed two weeks back for wenty.

  • He’s a big hearted goer, but not much more.

  • Yes fox reporter Nathan Ryan mentioned on twitter this morning. He has a head for the scrum; hope he does well.

  • Heard good things about him but lol if this is what we’re going to keep doing.
  • Fair dinkum, we need bigger and better than a wenty signing !!
    • That makes 29 in the squad. Not looking good. You just know Edrick Lee will be the 30th.
    • I don’t see the point in signing him if he isn’t but I wouldn’t know
    • If they announce the signing he will be if they don’t he isn’t
  • Will he be top 30? Dogs didnt offer to extend him.
