From Zerotackle: In a boost for Parramatta on the brink of the emergence of R360, Winger Zac Lomax is set to stay at Parramatta for the upcoming 2026 season. Eels GM of football Mark O'Neill reiterated he has an existing contract.
That article's quotes originate from this SEN interview (30/10) where Eels GM Mark O'Neill chatted to the Daily Telegraph's Michael Carayannis and Brett Kimmorley to chat about the state of the club.

Mark O'Neill is in the top 5 worst people to ever be involved with the Parramatta club.
He speaks well of you Frankie..... actually I hadn't heard him speak in a forum and he was quiet impressive. Clear and articulate.......a lot better than many NRL players that have gone on to retire.
I don't think he is quiet the idiot some people make him out to be. Have you ever met him Frankie? I think you and him could get on well.
Maybe the Chairman who was obviously travelling with him in Europe could look at some PR advice for these guys if the fan base has no real understanding of him. From what I understand Mathew Beach is not the type to tolerate fools, he must have an opinion of him? or he would have been weeded by now!
Can we believe everything they say is actually true
Does Lomax know? NAS admitted, he is, like others, waiting to see how R360 pans out.
What would you have said if you were GM? Ahhh dunno, yet, it's in the air, maybe, maybe not, hope so, we have a contract though, great player. Reg Reagan. More drama or less?
The human in the SEN interview just cut all the front-loaded straped-on extras. He has a contract, great player. Standard lines. He never said: "he will stay, trust me I'm not Pinocchio."
But if R360 goes ahead via guaranteed funding for 3 years, then LIV Golf might give us clues as to what might happen next. They are similarly unsactioned, Saudi-backed, F1-international -glitz-and-glam, prepared to lose big at circa 250-500m USD pa since 21-22. Plenty of high-profile golfers left on huge bucks, despite PGA bans on playing and golf-rankings. PGA ban was softened after 10mo litigation wars (another $100m USD or so).
Bottom line if R360 happens: NRL players in some numbers will likely go. Litigation likely at some point. Some players will probably be let back in. Our 10-year ban is actually case by case, anyway. Meaning "we probably will ban you, but we might not."
"What would you have said if you were GM? Ahhh dunno, yet, it's in the air"
Hoe, if it is true I probably would have said it....we all know it and we all know there is not much can be done about it.
He could have looked stronger playing it straight
Jye Gray knocks back R360 to remain a Rabbitoh
Rabbitohs fullback Jye Gray has knocked back the riches on offer in breakaway competition Rugby 360 to remain with South Sydney.
Gray had been offered a deal worth $US600,000 (A$920,000) per annum to switch codes, a huge pay bump given he was on just under $200,000 for this year and next at the Rabbitohs. The R360 deal was all the more appealing given that some or all of the money could be declared tax-free depending on where committed players reside.
