Eels say Lomax is not going anywhere for season 2026.

In a boost for Parramatta on the brink of the emergence of R360, Winger Zac Lomax is set to stay at Parramatta for the upcoming 2026 season. Eels GM of football Mark O'Neill reiterated he has an existing contract.

  • Mon saying "but but but he has a contract so he is staying" is pointless and meaningless....but i guess thats why we pay him the big bucks

    • Well paying the big bucks for Mon is probably subjective Rudolph....if we were paying you anything to give your opinions it would not be subjective or objective....maybe just a little spillage.

      • When did I become Rudolph? My nose isn't red....I rarely drink

        • You will always be Deer to me Randolph..... actually I think dementia has kicked in, in a big way!

I think these intelligent conversations may be coming to an end Randy, god knows if anyone else will take my place!

I usually have 3 tablets to take in the evening and two in the morning, I woke up at 3am (all old people do) and noticed that I had taken my morning tablets that evening and my evening tablets were looking at me in the bathroom.....so I then took the evening tablets and don't know if its morning or evening......any advice?

  • I watched the interview and he was just giving that generic response. If anything sounded more like Lomax will go.

  • I'm hoping he's stays, does a lot of yardage play from the back.

  • That was the most guarded "Yeah he's probably going" kind of response possible.

"He's got a contract with us mate."

Yes, we know that MON. Paps had a contract with the Storm too. If he was staying there would have been stronger messaging from everyone including Lomax.

  • Whatever plans Lomax had to join R360 are dead in the water. Club very confident he stays now.

    • Are you as confident as you were in Galvin signing with us?

  • Didn't the Tigers say the same thing about Galvin? He has a contract with us and going nowhere, then released a few weeks later.

Lomax will be gone if they find a replacement. He's on big money for a winger so Ryles may look at him going saves a few bucks that he can put elsewhere. I'd love to keep him, but it's business at the end of the day.
