Eels ranked 14th most valuable roster in comp.

SMH article has the eels roster valued at 14th in the competition just above the dragons and Titans. We are well behind the heavyweights in roster class. Ryles is doing a solid job with what he has available but R + R need to go shopping badly. Panthers roster is valued at 3 million dollars more

  • and storm just landed Jamaynne Isaako, crazy

we landed a few mozzies at best

    • Difference is the coach. Players want to play under Bellamy and no one wants to play under a rookie coach.

    • Well we do not need a Winger, more so a Centre, maybe two. Secondly, As WE said, Melbourne is very attractive and always has been. Playing in a team that has made two straight GF's? A 3x premiership winning coach? Also, they have money? I would be going to Melbourne as well.

  • I'll back the coach as Ryles is doing a great job with what he has, but MON really is in the firing line here.

Other than signing Ryles himself, I'd say Ryles is responsible for all the positive change in the last 2 years, this might be a faceatious take here, but MON has done sweet fuck all over the last 10 years to justify his salary and value.

  • Storm have made it clear that wanted a goal kicking outside backs players ask agents to look into it if the storm dont want then then they engage clubs like us

  • We have the most expensive Centre of Excellence in the country. From what the team has dished up so far, poor conditioning, being out muscled... I can go on. Surely these players are skipping weights sessions, avoiding the multi million $ facilities and not being flogged hard enough.

Surely Sam Moa, our defence couch is about to get the boot? Worst defence in the league. And WTF is Nathan Brown bringing to the coaching table?

  • It's no secret that R&R has been apalling. What makes it even worse is that they come out and publicly say they want players X,Y and Z.

We publicly declared interest in Galvin, Keon and Barnett and we didn't get any.

We need to stop trying to sign players anymore and focus on what we can control, and that is OUR OWN BACKYARD. Lock in our Juniors, get strong internally and become a club that can be taken seriously. Once you've done that, then you can recruit. Only then will star players take our club seriously.

  • And the Warriors just signed Warbrick for 2027. I'm starting to think that MON is just a cardboard cutout.

    • I reckon a cardboard cut out has more pull than mon.

"So Longi gets 8 to 10 weeks on the sidelines and the player responsible gets 1 week. Sounds a tad uneven. If the NRL wants to stomp out the 'Hip Drop' in games then the consequences need to be much more severe "

"Sucks for Doorey, he worked hard to get that first grade spot, earned it, and copped an ACL, it's a brutal sport. Hope he comes back strong and fit next season. This now looks like it opens the spot up for Moretti, and then Teancum comes in. If…"
